Why a Structured Lawn Care Program is Key

Oklahoma lawns face extreme weather shifts, from scorching summer heat to freezing winter temperatures. Without proper nutrients and pre-emergent protection, weeds like crabgrass, dandelions, and clover will take over your yard. Our custom 7-step program keeps your soil rich and lawn vibrant year-round.

Our Lawn Care & Fertilization Program

Pre-Emergent Barriers

We apply specialized pre-emergent barriers in early spring and fall to intercept weed seeds before they germinate, blocking weeds before they sprout.

Seasonal Soil Nutrients

We apply slow-release nitrogen fertilizers and organic soil conditioners to feed your grass roots and promote lush, green growth throughout the season.

Core Aeration & Fescue Overseeding

Relieve deep soil compaction in heavy Oklahoma clay and establish dense turf. Our annual fall core aeration and Fescue overseeding package delivers optimal seed-to-soil contact. Explore Core Aeration & Overseeding →

Post-Emergent Barriers

We apply post-emergent sprays to catch any weeds that popped through!

Lawn & Weed Control FAQs

What is included in the 7-step lawn program?

Our program includes multiple pre-emergent & post-emergent applications, spring and summer nitrogen fertilizations, weed spot-spraying, and winterizer root conditioning.

When should lawn fertilization start?

We begin applying pre-emergents and starter fertilizers in late winter / early spring (January/February) to prepare your lawn for green-up.

Are lawn treatments safe for dogs?

Yes. Pets should remain indoors during the application and can return to the lawn once the liquid treatment has dried (about 1 to 2 hours).

How long before I see weeds start to die?

Broadleaf weeds and active weeds typically begin to curl and die off within 7 to 21 days following a post-emergent spot treatment.

How do you treat nutsedge or nutgrass?

Nutsedge requires specialized post-emergent sedge herbicides. Hand-pulling breaks the root system, causing dormant underground tubers to multiply and sprout new weeds. Read our guide on Nutsedge control in Oklahoma lawns to learn why regular weed killers fail.

How do I get rid of sandbur stickers in my yard?

Eradicating sandburs is a multi-step process combining early spring pre-emergents to block germination with targeted summer spot-treatments. See our step-by-step sandbur sticker control calendar to clean your yard.

What is destroying my Bermuda lawn overnight?

During late summer and fall, Fall Armyworms can migrate in massive numbers and eat Bermuda turf grass down to the soil in days. Read our Armyworm prevention guide to learn warning signs and how to run a dish soap test.
